Class Levels

Beginner

Introduces the student to basic principles of Pilates including: fundamental movement skills, breath, and choreography. No previous Pilates experience is required.

Beginner/Intermediate

Expands on the basic principles and skills of Pilates and introduces the student to more intermediate exercises. Pace is increased and an emphasis on transitions is introduced. Some Pilates experience is recommended, but not required.

Intermediate

Moves at a quicker pace and assumes that the student has a solid understanding of both Pilates principles and the choreography of the exercises. Previous Pilates experience is required.

Intermediate/Advanced

Moves at a fast pace and introduces the student to the more advanced Pilates exercises. For the experienced student only. Teacher approval is required in order to register.

Advanced

Explores the full repertoire of the Pilates method including the most advanced expressions of extension, flexion, side bending, twisting, and balance. Advanced classes are fast-paced and for the experienced student only. Teacher approval is required in order to register.
